Emmy¨ Award-winning producer Colin Callender was named executive producer, HBO Showcase, for HBO in June 1987 and senior vice president, HBO Showcase, in April 1991. He is responsible for overseeing all HBO Showcase productions. Under Callender's direction, HBO Showcase has produced 25 films in the last six years and brought together a highly acclaimed group of new and established actors, directors, writers and producers to create some of HBO’s most acclaimed original movies.
